PICE – USC STUDENT CHAPTER was founded in the year 1998 with its first president Marlon Ceniza. The formation was because of the provisions of the PICE National Mother Chapter. (see their website: www.pice.org.ph)

WAYS TO BECOME A PICE STUDENT CHAPTER MEMBER
Anyone who wants to become a PICE - USC Student Chapter Member must be:
1. A Filipino citizen;
2. Currently enrolled in the University of San Carlos;
3. Holding a degree in Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering;
4. And willing to participate actively in the activities planned by the officers and board of directors.
Traditionally, the membership requirements are as shown by the PICE - USC Ladder:
An applicant must accomplish (or attend) these activities step-by-step to reach the highest point which calls for his/her acceptance to the organization. A grading system or certain set of standard would be established by the officers to accept those who fail to complete the ladder (i.e. to miss one or two activities).
